Black History Month: Frederick Douglass was an American Social Reformer, Abolitionist, writer, and much more. During the time he was alive Douglass became the national leader of the abolitionist movement. He knew that it would be hard to start a widespread movement on the topic of slavery so throughout his youth he taught himself everything from the history of America to the things he never thought he could learn. Frederick Douglass wrote many books in his time as well causing many gatherings to form around him. These gatherings helped him spread his word even more and become sound with all the people he met. Frederick Douglass was an excellent American Role Model changing history in a crucial way.

Last night the boys basketball team played Maryvale Prep. We scored the season high with 46 points. The boys led the first quarter and tied up again in the 3rd. I wanted to recognize both Josh and Isaac as they scored their first points this season in last night’s game. Josh was the second leading scorer with 8 points receiving our offensive player of the game award and Isaac scored 4. Both breaking their individual goals I set for they ugly m before the game. The boys play their last game on Thursday again against Maryvale prep.
